Come and stay at our Almeria holiday duplex apartment at Al Andalus Thalassa, a new development a few minutes from the coast in the Costa del Almeria region of Andalucia in southern Spain. Our "place in the sun" is at Vera Playa near the towns of Mojacar and Vera.
This is an area of Almeria for those who want to experience Spain at its best. Almeria offers a blend of golden sandy beaches, picturesque national parks, rugged mountainous scenery and towns and villages which retain a Spanish way of life and authentic charm. Here you will find culture, tradition, superb cuisine, true relaxation and un-crowded beaches, even in peak season! The Almeria area is subject to strict planning laws and is therefore free of high rise buildings, commercial bustle and over-development seen in some other areas of Spain. However, golfers should note that development of local golf courses has not been restricted and Al Andalus Thalassa affords easy access to the best courses in the area. So, whether you are young or mature, searching for a family beach holiday, a golf or walking break, or simply looking to get away from it all, an Almeria holiday offers something for everyone - even skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the largest naturist resort in Spain!
Vera Playa is under one hours' drive from Almeria airport and two hours from the airport at Murcia. Both are served by a number of low cost airlines from various UK cities.
The Resort
The Andalucian style apartments of Al Andalus Thalassa are built and furnished to a high standard. Different residential areas are separated by beautiful walkways and fountains. There are two large communal pools and a separate children’s splash pool surrounded by large landscaped areas with palm trees which provides shaded areas. Al Andalus Thalassa is suitable for both summer and winter breaks as it also boasts an indoor heated pool plus small gym area, jacuzzi, water jet circuit, sauna and steam room. Other facilities include two tennis courts and a children's play area, all in your own back yard! The gated complex (residents cars only allowed) is child-friendly and safe. Parking is in a designated parking bay outside the apartment.
