Terms and Conditions of HireThe Property is a family owned holiday home and to enable everyone who uses it to get maximum enjoyment from their holiday, all parties making a booking are deemed to have read and accepted the following Terms and Conditions of Hire. Booking/Payment Please telephone or email to check availability of required dates and provisionally book your holiday. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days to secure your booking. We will send you a receipt and letter/email advising you of the date the balance is due (8 weeks prior to departure). If you book 8 weeks or less from the date of departure, payment in full will be required. Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking. Security Deposit An additional £100/€150 refundable security deposit will be required for each booking which will be returned automatically within 14 days of your departure date, assuming the door keys have been returned to our Keyholder, the various key fobs and remote controls have been left at the property, no damage has occurred to either the property or its contents and the property has been returned in a clean and tidy condition. Any breakages must be reported to the owners/Keyholder before departure. Air Conditioning/Heating Unit The air conditioning/heating units - one in the lounge and one in the main bedroom - are expensive to run and therefore an additional charge of £20 per week will be applied if this facility is required. There is a ceiling fan in the lounge/dining area and two portable standard fans available if you do not wish to incur this additional cost. The air conditioning unit must only be operated with all doors and windows closed otherwise it is ineffective. The air conditioning unit must be switched off when leaving the property unoccupied. The units are operated by a remote control handset and a replacement charge will be levied if the remote control handset is lost or not returned broken. Arrival and Departure On arrival you will be met by our Keyholder who will show you round the apartment and answer any questions you may have. Access to the property is from 4pm and you must vacate by 10am on departure day unless otherwise agreed with the owners. This provides our Keyholder enough time to prepare the apartment for our next guests. Cot/Highchair A travel cot and highchair are available at the property but must be pre-booked. You must provide your own cot linen. Directions/Parking Directions to the property will be sent on receipt of the final payment. One car may be parked in the designated parking space relating to the property. Our Keyholder will provide you with a remote control to operate the vehicle access gate. A charge will be levied if the remote control is lost or returned broken. Electricity Electricity is included in the rental. It is a condition of rental that all appliances are switched off when leaving the property unattended. Golf Clubs A set of golf clubs are available at the property for which we charge a small supplement to cover general wear and tear. Indoor/Outdoor Facilities Unfortunately, as we have no control over the facilities on offer on the development, we cannot take responsibility for any alteration or unavailability of the facilities listed. Opening times for the Indoor and Outdoor facilities can be found at the property. A Key Fob providing electronic access to the indoor facilities can be found at the property. A replacement charge will be deducted from the deposit if the Fob is lost or returned damaged. Linen and Towels Linen and towels (indoor use only) are provided for each occupant but you must bring your own beach towels. Long Term Rental Terms and Conditions for Long Term Rental will differ from these standard conditions and will be provided on request. Lost Property/Holiday Insurance We cannot accept responsibility for any personal property lost or stolen during your stay at the property. In this respect it is recommended that you purchase appropriate Holiday Insurance to cover such probabilities. Occupation Under no circumstances will the property be let to more than 6 people and only to the individuals named on the Booking Form. Any amendments to the Booking Form must be advised to the Owner prior to the arrival date. Property Facilities We will endeavour to ensure that all facilities are available as described in the property description. However, there may be occasions when this is not within our control and we cannot be held responsible in such cases. We will try to resolve any unforeseen issues brought to our attention. Rules and Regulations You must be reasonable and fair and comply with all the rules and regulations of Al Andalus Thalassa You must give consideration to other residents (some of which are in permanent residence) and all music must be turned down low after 11pm. Security Please ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked (where applicable) and shutters pulled down when you leave the property unoccupied and before leaving for home. It is a condition of our insurance that the patio door locks, found at the top of each door, are locked when leaving the property, even to visit the pool. If the property is broken into and these security measures are not followed, our insurance company will not pay out. Also, accidental damage caused by you during your stay is not covered. Smoking Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time. Swimming Pools Please adhere to the rules and times applicable to the Swimming Pools for safety reasons. The outdoor pools cannot be used without a Lifeguard in attendance as it is against Spanish Law. Only water/soft drinks are permitted in the pool area. Cancellation If you have to cancel your holiday you must do so in writing and the cancellation will take effect from the day the letter/email is received and acknowledged. In the event of cancellation, a sliding scale of charges will apply as follows: Cancellation 28-21 days before holiday start date – 50% (50% refunded) Cancellation 20-14 days before holiday start date – 75% (25% refunded) Cancellation 13 days before holiday start date – 100% (no refund payable) In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control we will endeavour to find you a similar property on Al Andalus Thalassa or, if unable to do so, a refund of all monies paid to date will be refunded. Complaints Any complaints must be made immediately to the Owners/Keyholder who will endeavour to rectify any problems as soon as possible to ensure the enjoyment of your holiday is not compromised. Amendments These Terms and Conditions of Hire are subject to amendment from time to time and without notice in circumstances which are deemed to be of high importance or beyond our control. Notice will be provided where circumstances allow. |
